The third Paddington installment, titled ‘Paddington in Peru,’ follows the beloved bear as he returns to Peru to visit his Aunt Lucy, who now resides at the Home for Retired Bears. The Brown family accompanies him, and their visit turns into an unexpected adventure involving a mystery that takes them through the Amazon rainforest and the mountain peaks of Peru.
The film, directed by Dougal Wilson, features returning cast members like Ben Whishaw (voice of Paddington), Hugh Bonneville, Julie Walters, and Imelda Staunton (voice of Aunt Lucy). New additions to the cast include Olivia Colman, Antonio Banderas, and Emily Mortimer, who replaces Sally Hawkins as Mrs. Brown.
The movie has not been officially announced yet. However, given the family-friendly nature of the previous films, it is expected to have a similar rating, likely PG, suitable for a wide audience.
